English as a Second Language
Fellowship of the Nations hosts the North Channel ESL Academy during the academic school year. On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., North Channel ESL teaches all levels of English to those who have other primary languages. The 2009-10 year will register on September 15, 2009 @ 9 a.m. All classes are held at our 13305 Woodforest Blvd. location.
G.E.D. Classes
Fellowship of the Nations hosts We C.A.R.E. (Children At Risk Everyday) and their G.E.D. Classes. On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. during the academic school year, We C.A.R.E. teaches basic skills needed to pass a high school equivalency exam. Classes are $10 per week and students are required to purchase their own textbook. The 2009-10 registration will be held on September 15, 2009 @ 9 a.m. All classes are held at our 13305 Woodforest Blvd. location.
Thanksgiving Feast
On Thanksgiving Day, Fellowship of the Nations opens up its fellowship hall for a FREE traditional Thanksgiving Feast. We feed people from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
"To Go" meals, if food is available, will be given between 1:15 -2 p.m. Volunteer opportunities are available for this ministry. Please contact the church if you are interested.
