Please pray for my sister's pastor, Gene Branscum. He has a brain tumor and is in a lot of pain. This is one they couldn't remove.

Garett recieved his radiation and chemo today for the first time.
He had a rough day afterwards,he was completly wiped out and would have to rest every few minutes but he was still hungry constantly.When he would fall asleep,he was unable to stay asleep for long,the dr's said the steroids would prevent him from sleeping well.He also has mood swings with the steroids,the side effects from steroids aren't pleasant.
He went home to go to bed and was happy about that.As far as the radiation and chemo side effects along with the swelling in his brain from the tumor,that will have to be sorted out what's causing what by his dr's.I saw his schedule this afternoon for radiation and it really blew me away,he is scheduled for radiation down at the Methodist hospital every day for the month of june except weekends and he will be put under anesthesia each time and chemo twice a day.
This is going to be extremly exhausting for him.

This is the grandson of one of my coworkers, he is the vice president of the company where i am employed. please prayer for little Garett Hall.
Garett's Story
Until last Friday, Garett was your average four year old boy. There was never a person that he meet that he did not immediately like and everyone that has ever meet Garett immediately loved him. Saturday May 15, 2010 we received the worst possible news, we found out that Garett our four year old grandson has cancer. He has a tumor at the base of his brain that is terminal. Due to the location it is non operable and due to the type of cancer it is very aggressive.

From what we understand (and I use this term very loosely) it is called Pontine Gliomas and the brainstem passes directly through it. On Thursday we had a perfectly normal grandson, on Friday we were concerned as he seemed to be losing his balance, misjudged a corner and banged his head, but as he had just been to the doctor the same day, we took it as a typical four year old not paying attention to what was in front of him. Saturday morning everything changed, the right side of his face had lost its strength as did the left side of his little body. By the time we left him Saturday night he could not walk nor talk. If I had not seen it, what had happened in less than 24 hours, I would not have believed it. It is the most heart breaking thing that I have ever experienced, it sucks the life right out of you.

The doctors have told us that based on the size and damage already done, he does not have much time. If he responds to treatment they give him two years at best, but if he does not, they say it could be only a couple of months. Our concern based on the way they were talking, is that they may be giving us an optimistic opinion. At every turn, they chipped away at our hope and in the end, they snatched what little we had left.

Garett was originally diagnosed at St. Lukes near the Woodlands and was transfered to Texas Children’s Hospital Saturday evening. They started Garett on massive doses of steroids Saturday afternoon prior to transferring him to TCH, they have helped in restoring much on his facial paralysis and he can now walk and talk again. He is still unsteady when he walks, but he is able to get around. Please pray for Garett and keep him in your hearts. Garett loves the outdoors, learning new things and is very sensitive to others feelings. He loves sports, motorcycles and super heroes. He would like to grow up and be Batman (or maybe Spiderman)and fly jets.

please pray for my friend billie vasquez. her daughter had a preemie sat nite. the baby was only 31 wks old and weighed only 2 lbs and 15 oz. she has lost down to right below 2 lbs.her lungs are not develop. she already has sleep apnea,stops breathing at nite. like 4 times or more. her name is kayla and she is a very sick little angel. thank you. teresa and ronnie holder
